When Children’s Book Trust was set up to publish books for children,
the need for a good press to print the books was felt. That is how
the Indraprastha Press came to be. The first CBT book that was printed
in its press was ‘The Beggar King’.
Not only does the Indraprastha Press print CBT books, it takes on outside
work as well and has a reputation for fine, timely work.
Employing 70 people, the press has complete pre-and post-press, offset
facilities under one roof. Ever since its inception in 1965, the press
has been winning the National Award for Excellence in printing and
designing every year. The press has one four-colour, two two-colour
and two single-colour machines.
