Upset with her parents for not spending enough time with her and with her Nanny who frightens her, five-year-old Tisca follows a little bird into the forest. There she meets Rararumpa, a gnome of the forest who takes Tisca to his Happy Land where children learn how to be happy. Will Tisca be able to get back home?
